Well, yesterday was a great success with setting myself some general goals, and sticking to them. I managed to actually have a really happy Monday, despite many “hiccups” in the day.

Since my first endeavor in daily goal setting has gone so well, I’m going to attempt to do it again, by setting myself a few more goals for today. Hopefully they’ll work just as well!

1.) STAY POSITIVE : Work is going to get your down. That is the nature of the beast. Stay positive and don’t let it get to you. You’ll get to go home and sleep soon!

2.) WORK ON YOUR LIFE PLANNER : Nothing feels better than creating organisation from chaos. You’ve done a great job so far, and wasn’t your morning so much easier today being organized and ready to just pick up and head to work? Keep that momentum going. Create a life planner you enjoy using. Get your life together.

3.) WORK ON NANOWRIMO: Okay. You let yourself slide on this one yesterday. Not today. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. You WILL be a published author soon. Get that book DONE. You can watch AHS Freak Show after you’ve written 2,000 words.

4.) DON’T LOSE YOUR SHIT ON THE PLAYERS: They have no comprehension of what your job entails. Don’t lose it on them. It’s not their fault that you aren’t being taken care of the way you should. All things will come together. Help them get better at rugby. Rugby. Rugby. Rugby. You love it. Remember that.

5.) BE HAPPY: The only person determining your happiness is you. You can dwell on not being paid. You can dwell on being angry about it. You can sit and stew. You can let all the little things and mistreatments get you down. Or you can accept that everything is going to be okay, and get on with your day. CHOOSE to be in a GOOD MOOD.

These goals are pretty similar to the ones from yesterday, but I can already tell they’re really making a change in my attitude. #IWillSurvive

Hello Again!

Well, that burst of dedicated writing and positivity was over rather quickly.

But I’m back, and looking to get more positive than ever! This month, not only will I be participating in NaNoWriMo, but I will be endeavoring to complete yet another month of positivity. This challenge will require me to post everyday about things I’m thankful for, things I’m grateful for, and the all-around-things-that-make-me-happy.

I’ll also be attempting to reconstruct my ever-so-dependable life planner, and aiming to get myself back on track, organized and motivated again.

So join me as I start out on Day #1 – listing 5 goals for the day.

1.) STAY POSITIVE – Refuse to let the negative thoughts in today. Don’t give any negative thoughts more than 3minutes of your time, and instead of dwelling on the fear of negative thoughts, focus on solutions.

2. ) WRITE 1,700 WORDS ON NANOWRIMO NOVEL – Stop procrastinating and get that novel written.

3.) DON’T LET WORK GET YOU DOWN – Things are tough now, but they will be so worth it in the long run. You are living your DREAM! How many people get to do that? Almost. There.

4.) GET YOUR HEALTH IN ORDER – Schedule those extra docs appointments. Starting taking your vitamins on a regular basis. Take care of yourself. You’re not 16 anymore.

5.)  GET ORGANIZED – Those pieces of your planner will be in later today. Get them together. Get your printables printed out. Get your layout sorted. Get to work on putting yourself back together. Play time is over.

I’ll be back later tonight to let you know how these goals have worked out for me throughout the day. Fingers crossed!
